OWN’s New Dating Show “The Never Ever Mets” Premieres April 19th

The concept of online dating has taken a new twist with OWN’s new dating show, The Never Ever Mets. This intriguing series follows couples who have been in online relationships for years but have never met in person. The first look at the show introduces us to Shay and Josh, who have been dating for 12 years without ever meeting face-to-face. The absurdity of their situation is both humorous and thought-provoking, reflecting the reality of modern relationships.

Hosted by Ta’Rhonda Jones, The Never Ever Mets features seven couples who are finally meeting in person for the first time and sharing a house together for three weeks. The couples will participate in fun and flirty relationship activities, couples therapy, and even a trip to the ‘boom boom room’ to test the strength of their online connection in the real world.

Adding to the drama are visits from friends and loved ones, who provide meddling opinions and tension within the house. The couples will ultimately have to decide if their online relationships can survive off the screen and in real life, or if it’s time to move on.

Produced by Bunim Murray Productions, The Never Ever Mets promises to be a captivating and entertaining look at the challenges of online dating. The series premieres on April 19 at 8/7c on OWN and will also be available for streaming on Max. Don’t miss the chance to see what happens when online connections meet in the real world.
