Eminem is gearing up to bring some extra excitement to the NFL Draft, which is set to kick off next week in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

In a recent clip shared by Shady Records co-founder Paul Rosenberg, the rap icon is seen alongside NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, hyping up the annual football event. The video showcases Em and Goodell sitting side by side, with Em bringing his signature energy while Goodell adds a touch of his own.

“We’re so fired up this year for the NFL Draft,” Eminem exclaims in the clip, prompting Goodell to chime in with, “Live from the D!”

Amused by the commissioner’s choice of words, Eminem jokingly asks if he’s being Punk’d, adding a light-hearted touch to the promotional video.

The 89th annual NFL Draft is scheduled to take place from April 25–27, and fans are eagerly anticipating what surprises Eminem might have in store for the event. Earlier this week, the rapper hinted at potential involvement in the 2024 NFL Draft after Big Sean announced his performance before the first round.

As fans speculate on Eminem’s role in the upcoming draft, they can look back on his recent support for the Detroit Lions during their historic win against the Los Angeles Rams. Alongside Big Sean, Eminem cheered on their local team at Ford Field, celebrating the Motor City’s first playoff victory in nearly three decades.

With Eminem’s ties to Detroit and his passion for football, fans can expect nothing short of an electrifying presence from the rap legend at the NFL Draft in his hometown.
