Kanye West Reveals His Favorite Hip-Hop Artists and Speaks with Tyler The Creator
Kanye West made headlines once again with his recent interview on The Download podcast with Justin Laboy, where he revealed his current favorite hip-hop artists. The iconic rapper named Kodak Black and Young Moose as two rappers he’s currently vibing with, but he also admitted that he hasn’t been keeping up with much new music lately.
During the interview, Kanye shared, “It changes, it switches. Also Kodak [Black]. There’s this new rapper out of Baltimore named [Young] Moose who we’re working with. But I told y’all I don’t even listen to music. I’m too busy getting money! I really, really, really am too busy getting money to listen to too much music.” Young Moose took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the shout-out from Ye, calling it a moment bigger than life itself.
In addition to his favorite artists, Kanye also made some explosive comments about Drake and Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, referring to the rapper as having a “rich baby daddy” in Lucian. He also premiered a new remix of Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” where he takes shots at both Drake and J Cole.
