Luxury Art Gallery Opening in Wynwood: The Private Gallery’s Grand Debut

The art world in Wynwood is about to get a major upgrade with the opening of a new luxury art gallery from the founders of Museum of Graffiti. The gallery, located at 2521 NW 3rd Ave., will be a 3,700 square foot converted warehouse space adjacent to the Museum of Graffiti and the Art of Hip Hop exhibition space.

Originally known as The Private Gallery, the new flagship location will showcase a diverse group of global contemporary artists who have used the streets as their canvas from a very early age. The gallery’s opening exhibition, Graffiti Abstraction, will feature works from artists such as Gustavo Oviedo, Saber, MadC, and more.

“We are honored to be bringing the most elevated form of the genre to the heart of Miami. Our growth over the past 4 years is not unique to us—the entire culture is bursting at the seams with innovation, and new opportunities as top level brands and collectors have poured millions of dollars into a once shunned art form,” said Allison Freidin, co-Founder of The Private Gallery.

The Grand Opening of The Private Gallery will be by invitation only, giving VIPs the first look at the new collection and the opportunity to taste Paso D’ Oro Wines. A portion of the proceeds from art sales at the VIP celebration will be donated to The Erika Ender Heartlight Foundation, supporting children’s rights, education, and nutrition.

This new gallery promises to be a game-changer in the art world, showcasing the evolution of street art into a celebrated and respected art form. The collaboration with Paso D’Oro Wines and support for The Erika Ender Heartlight Foundation adds a philanthropic element to the celebration of creativity and innovation in Wynwood.
