Brendan Paul Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Possession Charges in Florida Court
Brendan Paul, known as Diddy’s assistant, has found himself in hot water after pleading not guilty to drug possession charges in a Florida court. The 25-year-old former Syracuse University basketball player was charged with felony cocaine possession by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office. Although a second charge for possession of a controlled substance was dropped, Paul’s legal team, led by attorney Brian H. Bieber, entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf.
Paul’s arrest took place at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on March 25, the same day that Diddy’s mansions were raided by Homeland Security agents. According to an arrest affidavit, Paul had the contraband in his personal travel bags, which he claimed ownership of before being searched. He was released the following day after posting a $2,500 bond.
In a surprising twist, Paul has been labeled as Combs’ “mule” in a civil suit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. against Sean Combs and Cuba Gooding Jr. Jones alleges that Paul was involved in procuring, transporting, and distributing various illegal substances by concealing them in carry-on luggage and passing through TSA security. Additionally, Paul was accused of negotiating fees for sex workers employed by Combs and ensuring they were paid.
These shocking revelations continue to surface, shedding light on the alleged activities within Diddy’s inner circle. The case is set to unfold in the courtroom, where Paul will have the opportunity to defend himself against the serious charges he faces.
