Kendrick Lamar’s Streaming Stats Soar Amid Feud with Drake
The ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has not only captured the attention of fans but has also had a significant impact on their streaming numbers. While Kendrick has seen a massive surge in streams, Drake’s figures have taken a slight hit.
Kendrick’s diss tracks, including “Euphoria,” “Meet the Grahams,” and “Not Like Us,” have collectively garnered millions of streams, with “Euphoria” alone amassing a staggering 27.6 million on-demand streams in the U.S. between May 3 and 6. These tracks have not only boosted Kendrick’s numbers but have also led to increased streams for the songs he sampled, such as Teddy Pendegrass’ “You’re My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration” and Al Green’s “What a Wonderful Thing Love Is.”
On the other hand, Drake’s discography experienced a 4.9 percent dip in streams during the same period, despite releasing his own diss tracks. Despite this, Drake still maintains a significant lead in overall streams, with over 98 billion spins to his name.
In a blow to Drake’s pride, Kendrick recently broke the record for the biggest single-day streams of a Hip Hop song in U.S. Spotify history with “Not Like Us,” surpassing Drake and Lil Baby’s “Girls Like Girls.” The track accumulated a whopping 11 million streams in just one day, further fueling the feud between the two artists.
As the rivalry between Kendrick Lamar and Drake continues to escalate, fans are eagerly awaiting their next moves and the impact it will have on their streaming numbers.
