    2024 ASCAP Pop Music Awards Winners Announced

    The 2024 ASCAP Pop Music Awards have just been announced, and the winners are taking the music industry by storm. Olivia Rodrigo and Daniel Nigro have been crowned as the ASCAP Pop Music Songwriters of the Year for their hit songs “vampire” and “bad idea right?”. This is Rodrigo’s second win, having previously won in 2022. The award was presented to Nigro by Chappell Roan at an exclusive event in Los Angeles.

    Charli XCX, the British avant-pop and electronic sensation, has been honored with the ASCAP Global Impact Award for the enduring worldwide popularity of her music.     Universal Music Publishing Group has been named Publisher of the Year for their contributions to songs like “Calm Down,” “Cuff It” by Beyonce, “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa, and many more.
