A Georgia teen and her family have a lot to celebrate this year as Madison Crowell, a senior at Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Ga., has been accepted at an astounding 231 colleges and universities across the country and has received an impressive $14.7 million in scholarships.

Crowell, who is the vice president of her class, a varsity cheerleader, a National Honors Society member, managing editor of the school yearbook, and the lead basketball manager, has decided to join the incoming freshman class at High Point University (HPU) in High Point, N.C. on a full scholarship. She plans to major in exercise sciences with the goal of eventually completing a doctorate in physical therapy.

In a statement, Crowell expressed her excitement about attending HPU, stating that the atmosphere on campus made her feel at home and ready to embark on an amazing educational journey. The administration at HPU is equally thrilled to welcome Crowell and believes she will achieve great things during her time at the university.

President Joe Biden even gave a shout out to Crowell at a recent awards ceremony, calling her one of the reasons he is optimistic about the future. In an interview with Good Morning America, Crowell shared that she applied to so many schools to inspire other young people from rural areas to see the opportunities available to them beyond their hometowns.

Crowell’s story serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for students everywhere, proving that hard work, determination, and a drive to succeed can open doors to endless possibilities.
