DJ Akademiks Accused of Rape, Sexual Assault, and Defamation: A Shocking Turn of Events

DJ Akademiks, the popular Hip-Hop commentator and source for all things Drake, has found himself at the center of a scandal after being accused of rape, sexual assault, and defamation by Fauziya “Ziya” Abashe. The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, alleges that Akademiks, whose real name is Livingston Allen, invited Abashe to his New Jersey home where she was drugged, assaulted, and raped by two unidentified men before being brutally assaulted by Allen himself.

Abashe claims that the drugs administered to her caused her to lose consciousness and that she was later awoken by Allen, who proceeded to rape her both anally and vaginally. Despite initially not pressing charges, Abashe revisited the incident after her claims resurfaced in 2023. She sought medical attention and a rape kit, which allegedly uncovered traces of Akademiks’ sperm. Additionally, she claims to have had a recorded conversation with Akademiks where he admitted to the assault.

In response to the allegations, Akademiks denied the accusations in a video posted on his YouTube channel, claiming that Abashe had willingly participated in an orgy with his friends. Abashe is now suing Akademiks for defamation, in addition to the charges of rape and sexual assault.

The shocking allegations have rocked the Hip-Hop community, where Akademiks has been a prominent figure in recent weeks. As the legal battle unfolds, the future of DJ Akademiks’ career hangs in the balance.
