Shooting Halts Lil Baby Music Video Production: Three Men Injured, Rapper Unharmed

The production of a Lil Baby music video in Atlanta took a terrifying turn on May 14 when a shooting occurred at the filming location. According to reports from Fox 5, three men were shot and injured during the incident. The shooting took place near a commercial strip on Verbena Street, with shots ringing out at 4:50 PM on Tuesday evening.

Police have stated that the victims were not directly involved in the music video production but may have been present in an extracurricular capacity. Major Ralph Woolfolk mentioned that there may have been individuals involved in the totality of the production. The victims, a 24-year-old man shot in the arm, a 27-year-old man shot in the back, and a 23-year-old man shot in the neck, are all currently in stable condition.

Lil Baby, who was confirmed to be the rapper shooting the music video, was unharmed in the incident. The rapper was seen near the set shortly before the shooting occurred and was captured on the Instagram Story of a local woman. A spokesperson for Lil Baby stated that neither the rapper nor his production team were involved in the shooting.

This is not the first time Lil Baby has been indirectly connected to a shooting incident. In 2023, a man fired a gun during one of his concerts in Memphis, resulting in the show being cut short. Despite these incidents, Lil Baby continues to be a prominent figure in the music industry.
