    Renowned rapper Rapsody recently opened up about how Lil Wayne’s verse on their collaboration inspired her to push her creative boundaries to new heights. In an exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Rapsody shared how Wayne’s artistry motivated her to elevate her own.

    “I just wanna say what I say and make it fun,” Rapsody expressed. “But then, he sent his verse, and I was like, ‘I gotta match the level of artistry.’ Like, itโ€™s Wayne!” She went on to reveal that she rewrote her verse a staggering 27 times to ensure it lived up to the standard set by the legendary MC.

    Rapsody’s upcoming album, “Please Donโ€™t Cry,” set to release on May 17th, features collaborations with major artists such as Erykah Badu and Lil Wayne. The album is described as a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, marking Rapsody’s return to the music scene after a four-year hiatus.

    The tracklist for the album includes 22 songs with features from the likes of Hit-Boy, Baby Tate, and Alex Isley, among others.
