Renowned rapper Rapsody recently opened up about how Lil Wayne’s verse on their collaboration inspired her to push her creative boundaries to new heights. In an exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Rapsody shared how Wayne’s artistry motivated her to elevate her own.

“I just wanna say what I say and make it fun,” Rapsody expressed. “But then, he sent his verse, and I was like, ‘I gotta match the level of artistry.’ Like, it’s Wayne!” She went on to reveal that she rewrote her verse a staggering 27 times to ensure it lived up to the standard set by the legendary MC.
