Legal Implications of Diddy Allegedly Assaulting Cassie: Kodak Black’s Lawyer Weighs In
Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has weighed in on the legal implications surrounding the new video of Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie at a hotel in Los Angeles from 2016. Cohen believes that CNN did not “obtain” the footage, but rather it was leaked, indicating potential legal trouble for the Bad Boy mogul.
In an Instagram post, Cohen stated, “Anyone who thinks CNN ‘obtained’ the video is a sucker. This was a leak, and to me, it telegraphs the fact he’s about to be charged in a bigger case.” He also suggested that if Cassie is the star witness, her past relationship with Diddy could be used against him in court.
Cohen further speculated that Diddy has not left the country in recent weeks because he may be at risk of arrest if he were to travel. This theory aligns with the idea that a criminal complaint could be looming for the music icon.
50 Cent also chimed in on the situation, sharing the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office’s statement that Diddy will not face charges due to the statute of limitations on assault.
While Cassie previously filed a lawsuit alleging abuse by Diddy, the two parties quickly settled. Diddy has consistently denied all allegations against him. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
