Southaven Middle School Mother Alleges Assistant Principal Assaulted Daughter: Shameka Mcentyre Speaks Out

Southaven Middle School mother Shameka Mcentyre is speaking out after her 12-year-old daughter was allegedly mistreated by Assistant Principal Granger Brown during a scuffle with another student. Mcentyre claims that Brown grabbed her daughter by the hair and jacket, and even kicked her during the incident.

Despite the disturbing nature of the allegations, Mcentyre says that neither the school nor the school district reached out to her about the incident. Instead, her daughter received a suspension, while Brown was reportedly suspended as well, although it is unclear if it is with or without pay.

Mcentyre, however, believes that a suspension is not enough and plans to take legal action against the assistant principal. She described the incident as an attack on her daughter and believes that Brown had a personal issue with her.

The video of the incident has been viewed by Action News 5, but they do not have permission to show it. Mcentyre is adamant about seeking justice for her daughter and ensuring that Brown faces consequences for his actions.

As the situation unfolds, Mcentyre’s determination to hold Brown accountable for his alleged misconduct serves as a reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of students in schools. The Root has reached out to Brown for further information, but has not received a response.
