Metro Boomin and Partners Donate $100,000 to Support Women and Children in St. Louis

Metro Boomin, along with Rung for Women and Amazon Access, donated $100,000 to local nonprofits in St. Louis to support women and children in need. The funds were raised during a holiday event and a special Cardinals game where Metro Boomin played a pre-game set and threw the first pitch.

The recipients of the grants include Almost Home, Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation, The Haven of Grace, The Little Bit Foundation, and Parents as Teachers. These organizations will use the funds to help women with essential expenses like childcare, rent, and utilities.

Metro Boomin, inspired by his own single mother, expressed the importance of paying it forward and supporting women in the community. Leslie Gill, President of Rung, praised Metro for his commitment to women and the community.

The funds were raised through various events, including the Leslie Joanne Soirée holiday event and ‘Metro Boomin Night’ at the Cardinals game. Fans who purchased a special Theme Ticket received an exclusive Metro Boomin bobblehead, with a portion of the proceeds going to Rung for Women.

Rung for Women will act as a fiduciary agent as Metro Boomin establishes his own nonprofit foundation. This initiative aims to provide ongoing support for women in St. Louis and continue the work of improving lives in the community.
