    SIAC Reveals 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees

    2024 SIAC Hall of Fame Class Inductees

    The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) will be honoring seven individuals for their outstanding contributions to member institutions at the 2024 SIAC Hall of Fame Induction on July 10 in Atlanta. The event will take place at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame and will celebrate the achievements of these remarkable individuals.

    Among the honorees is Willie Washington, who has been a pivotal figure at Benedict College for 36 years, leading the athletics department to numerous successes. Dr. Kimberly Dugger, a standout in women’s basketball at Fort Valley State University, will also be recognized for her impressive career on the court.

    Harold “Bobo” Hubbard, a former basketball star at Savannah State University, will be honored for his achievements both in college and professionally. Jacoby Jones, a standout football player at Lane College who went on to have a successful career in the NFL, will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

    William King, Jr., a talented tennis player at Tuskegee University who also found success in the music industry, will be recognized for his achievements. Mabel Sanders, a standout in women’s basketball at Savannah State University, will also be honored for her impressive career on the court.

    Lastly, Frank Walker, a defensive standout for Tuskegee University football who went on to have a successful career in the NFL, will be recognized for his contributions to the sport.

    The SIAC Hall of Fame was established in 1992 to celebrate the accomplishments of former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and contributors within the conference. With a total of 161 distinguished honorees since its inception, the Hall of Fame continues to preserve the esteemed history of the SIAC.
