Severe Weather Forces Jack Harlow to Cancel Final Day of Gazebo Festival in Louisville

The inaugural Gazebo Festival in Louisville, Kentucky took an unexpected turn as severe weather forced organizers to cancel the final day of the event, including a headline performance by Jack Harlow. Tornado warnings prompted the difficult decision to prioritize the safety of patrons, artists, and staff.

Despite the disappointment, Sunday ticket holders will receive full refunds, while weekend pass holders will be refunded 50 percent of their ticket price. Jack Harlow took to Instagram to express his regret over the cancelation, emphasizing the importance of safety in the face of dangerous weather conditions.

Other artists scheduled to perform on the second day of the festival, such as PinkPantheress, Omar Apollo, and Slum Village, were also affected by the cancelation. The first day of the festival, headlined by SZA, was well-received and featured a diverse lineup of performers.

Jack Harlow had announced the Gazebo Festival earlier in the year as a way to give back to his hometown of Louisville, with proceeds from ticket sales going to local community organizations. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg praised Harlow’s commitment to the city and expressed excitement for the festival’s potential impact.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, the Gazebo Festival’s first day was a success, showcasing a range of talented artists and bringing the community together. The cancelation serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of outdoor events and the importance of prioritizing safety above all else.
