Justin Timberlake’s Lawyer Speaks Out Following DWI Arrest: “He Will Have a Lot to Say”

Justin Timberlake’s recent DWI arrest has caused quite a stir, with his lawyer Edward Burke Jr. coming to his defense and promising a vigorous defense against the allegations. The “Cry Me a River” singer was arrested in New York after failing to stop at a stop sign and maintain his lane of travel while driving a 2025 BMW. Timberlake allegedly refused a breathalyzer test and was charged with running a stop sign and not traveling in the correct traffic lane.

The police report described Timberlake as being in an intoxicated condition, with bloodshot and glassy eyes, a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, and poor performance on field sobriety tests. Despite claiming to have only had one martini and following his friends home, Timberlake is facing serious charges.

Interestingly, the arresting officer reportedly did not recognize Timberlake, leading to a moment of confusion when the singer expressed concern about the incident ruining his upcoming tour. Timberlake’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 26, the same day as a performance on his Forget Tomorrow Tour in Poland.

This incident comes on the heels of Timberlake’s sixth studio album release, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. With Timberlake yet to comment on the incident himself, fans are left wondering about the future of his career in light of these legal troubles.
