Jermaine Dupri and Durand Bernarr Star in Hilarious Preview of Usher Tribute at BET Awards 2024

Jermaine Dupri and Durand Bernarr are bringing the laughs in a hilarious promo for the upcoming Usher tribute at the 2024 BET Awards. In the clip released on Thursday, Bernarr auditions for Dupri with his own rendition of Usher’s hit song “Good Kisser,” but things don’t go quite as planned.

“I’m not sure those are the lyrics…” a confused JD remarks in the video, as Bernarr continues to belt out his unique version of the song. The funny clip has already garnered attention and anticipation for the tribute at the annual show on June 30.

Usher will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards, a well-deserved recognition for the R&B icon. Previous recipients of the award include Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Queen Latifah, and Mary J. Blige.
