Tragic Shooting at Jacksonville Rapper Julio Foolio’s Birthday Party in Tampa, Fla.

Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio met a tragic end at his own birthday party in Tampa, Fla., where he was shot to death. The incident took place at an address where Foolio had advertised an “air bnb pool party” to his massive following on Instagram. Despite being kicked out of an Airbnb by police due to occupancy limits, the party continued at another location.

Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, was just 26 years old at the time of his death. He and three other victims were rushed to a nearby hospital following the shooting. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released a statement expressing their commitment to ensuring safety and security in the city.

The tragic killing of Foolio is reminiscent of other incidents where rappers have been targeted after revealing their locations on social media. Tampa rapper Rollie Bands was shot dead in front of his home in a similar manner, and rapper PnB Rock was killed during a robbery at a restaurant after being tagged in a social media post.

In a chilling revelation, Jones had previously shared on Instagram that he had survived five attempts on his life. The investigation into his death is ongoing, with no information on the suspect released as of yet. The music community mourns the loss of yet another talented artist to senseless violence.
