Kehlani Opens Up About YG and Saweetie’s Relationship: “I’m a Lesbian, Why Would I Care?”

In a recent interview with Hot 97, Kehlani shared her thoughts on her former partner YG being in a relationship with her friend and collaborator Saweetie. The 29-year-old singer made it clear that she has no hard feelings towards the couple, stating, “Well because I’m a lesbian, so why would I care about any male exes?”

Kehlani went on to express her support for YG and Saweetie, saying, “I love Saweetie! I think she’s so cute and so fine. We have a song together. We hang out. She’s cool. And they make so much sense. Like knowing them both, I’m like, you know what? I really like this. I’ve told him like, ‘I like this a lot. Y’all look cute together.’”

The Bay Area native also emphasized that she is not the jealous type and values everyone’s happiness. She mentioned that she only crashed out once when it came to her exes, showing her pride and maturity in handling relationships.

YG and Kehlani were previously in a relationship in 2019 before breaking up due to infidelity rumors. YG and Saweetie have been on and off since 2023, with their relationship becoming public at that time.
