Birdman and Lil Wayne Reunite as Cash Money Honored at YouTube’s Leaders & Legends Gala

Birdman and Lil Wayne reunited in Los Angeles this week as Cash Money was honored at YouTube’s second annual Leaders & Legends Gala. The event took place on Thursday, June 27, during BET Weekend in the City of Angels. Bryan “Birdman” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams were recognized for their entrepreneurial success on the 30th anniversary of founding their iconic label.

The star-studded event saw the likes of Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Yo Gotti, Juvenile, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, and Quality Control’s Pierre “Pee” Thomas in attendance. Birdman took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Gotti, Wayne, and Mack Maine, captioning it, “A movie @cashmoneyofficial #RICHGANG YMCMB [goat emoji] STUNNAMAN.”

Juvenile also expressed his gratitude for being a part of Cash Money’s journey, thanking Slim and Birdman for the opportunity. Lil Wayne and Birdman have had a tumultuous relationship in the past, but they have reconciled multiple times since their feud began in 2014.

Earlier this year, the duo was spotted in the studio together, hinting at a possible collaboration. Despite their differences, Birdman and Lil Wayne have managed to put their disputes behind them and focus on their music. The pair finally settled their legal battle over the delayed release of Tha Carter V in 2018, showing that their bond goes beyond just business.
