    Kodak Black has publicly expressed regret over a controversial lyric in his hit single “Super Gremlin,” where he raps about knowingly swallowing a fake Percocet. The Florida rapper addressed fans during a concert, admitting that he was torn while writing the line and acknowledging the potential harm it could cause.

    In a video that surfaced online, Kodak explained, “When I was in my stage when I was taking Percs, I was torn. I swear to God, I was taking about 100 Percs a day. Averaged about 40 a day. If I was fucking with that fake shit, I woulda been dead, homie.” He emphasized that he does not want his fans to think it’s okay to engage in such risky behavior.

    Despite the controversy surrounding the lyric, “Super Gremlin” reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been certified platinum. Kodak, who has been open about his struggles with Percocet addiction, revealed that he spent $350,000 on rehab to get clean.

    In a recent Instagram Live session, Kodak shared that he is working on bettering himself and staying sober. He expressed pride in his progress, stating, “I’ve never been this happy in my life, bro. I don’t know where this came from, what the fuck going on.”
