    Shaq Explains “BBL Drizzy” Post

The ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has made its way into the sports world, with NBA teams using their disses as motivation before playoff games. The competitive nature of the beef has sparked discussions among sports commentators, and even led to some playful antics from former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal.

Recently, Shaq found himself in hot water after posting a bizarre edited picture of himself on a boat with a woman, with Drake’s face superimposed over hers. The image was accompanied by the caption “BBL Drizzy,” referencing one of Drake’s popular songs.

During a recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaq took the time to explain the controversial post, clarifying that he did not photoshop the image himself. He admitted that someone had sent him the picture, and he found it amusing enough to share on social media. However, once the post went viral, Shaq decided to take it down out of respect for Drake.

“I should have put ‘Who did this?’ on there, because I don’t want you to think I did that,” Shaq explained. “Somebody sent it to me, I thought it was funny and hopefully you thought it was funny, too.”

While Drake has already moved on to other projects, including collaborations with Camila Cabello, the memes and jokes surrounding the Kendrick Lamar beef continue to circulate. It remains to be seen if more celebrities will join in on the fun, but one thing is for sure: Shaq’s apology to Drake has put an end to this particular chapter of the ongoing feud.
