Jamie Foxx Reveals Cause of Hospitalization: “I Took Some Advil for a Headache and Woke Up 20 Days Later”

Jamie Foxx has finally revealed the reason behind his mysterious hospitalization last year, shedding light on a terrifying experience that left him with no memory of 20 days of his life. In a video that surfaced on social media, the actor and singer explained that he had taken an Advil for a headache and then blacked out, only to wake up nearly three weeks later with no recollection of what had happened.

The incident occurred on April 11th, 2023, while Foxx was filming the movie “Back in Action” in Atlanta. Despite initial reports of a “medical complication,” his daughter Corrine assured fans that he was on the road to recovery thanks to quick action and great care. Foxx’s hospitalization sparked concern and speculation, but he has since revealed that he saw “the tunnel” during his near-death experience and struggled to walk afterwards.

After being released from the hospital, Foxx reportedly checked into a top physical rehabilitation center to aid in his recovery. His daughter later confirmed that he had been out of the hospital for weeks and was recuperating well, even playing pickleball just a day before. Foxx’s emotional journey back to health culminated in him receiving the Vanguard Award at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema & Television, where he expressed gratitude for being alive and cherishing every moment.
