Meek Mill has weighed in on the controversy surrounding boxer Ryan Garcia’s recent claim that Lil Wayne gave him permission to use the N-word. Garcia, who has been making headlines for a series of bizarre outbursts, sparked outrage with his racist remarks on social media.

During an X Spaces broadcast, Garcia declared, “I hate n-ggas. I’m anti-Black. I’m KKK, n-gga.” He also mentioned bringing George Floyd back to life just to kill him again. In another post, Garcia claimed that Lil Wayne had given him the go-ahead to use the N-word.

Meek Mill took to his Instagram Stories to question Garcia’s mental state, suggesting that chasing money can have negative effects on one’s well-being. Garcia later apologized for his comments, attributing them to “trolling,” but the damage was done as he was subsequently banned by the World Boxing Council.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman made a statement expelling Garcia from any activities associated with the organization, denouncing all forms of discrimination. Meek Mill was not the only one to condemn Garcia’s remarks, as former NBA player Stephen Jackson also criticized the boxer in a video posted on Instagram.

As of now, Lil Wayne has not responded to Garcia’s claim. The controversy surrounding Garcia’s comments serves as a reminder of the importance of being mindful of the words we use and the impact they can have.
