Wiz Khalifa Faces Backlash for Linking Up with Boxer Ryan Garcia Following Racist Rant

Wiz Khalifa is under fire after being seen shaking hands with boxer Ryan Garcia just days after Garcia made racist remarks during a social media rant. The controversial fighter, known for his bizarre outbursts, sparked outrage when he used the N-word and invoked the Ku Klux Klan in a video.

In the footage shared by Garcia, he and Wiz Khalifa can be seen exchanging pleasantries in a bar, with the rapper even giving the athlete his phone number to stay connected. This interaction did not sit well with many online, with one person commenting, “Wiz has no code,” and another questioning how Khalifa could associate with someone who made such derogatory comments.

Meek Mill also expressed his disappointment in Garcia’s behavior, questioning the boxer’s mental health and warning about the dangers of prioritizing money over morals. Former NBA player Stephen Jackson also condemned Garcia’s remarks, urging him to seek help and criticizing his attention-seeking behavior.

Despite Garcia later claiming that he was “trolling” and issuing an apology, the World Boxing Council took action by banning him from any activities with the organization. WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman stated, “We reject any form of discrimination,” emphasizing the seriousness of Garcia’s actions.

As of now, Lil Wayne, who was mentioned in Garcia’s remarks, has not responded to the controversy. The incident has sparked a larger conversation about accountability and the consequences of hateful speech in the public eye.
