    HBCU football fans have something to look forward to this season as HBCU Go TV, part of the Byron Allen Media group, has released their 2024 football schedule. With a total of 30 games on the lineup, including seven CIAA broadcasts, nine SIAC games, and 14 SWAC contests, there will be plenty of opportunities for stakeholders to catch their favorite teams in action.

    Byron Allen, the founder of Allen Media Group, expressed his excitement for the upcoming season, stating, “Now is the time for HBCUs, and HBCU GO is the true destination for coverage of Black college sports and culture.” HBCU Go president Curtis Symonds also added, “We have 26 exciting matchups on our slate this season, including the Southern Heritage Classic, six homecoming games, and the CIAA Football Championship.”

    The coverage kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 31, with a doubleheader featuring Clark Atlanta against Fort Valley State, followed by Virginia Union taking on Kentucky State. The season will also feature marquee matchups such as the Southern Heritage Classic between Tennessee State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Memphis on Sept. 14, and the CIAA championship game on Nov. 16.
