Mobb Deep Fans Rejoice as Havoc Teases New Music Produced by The Alchemist
Havoc, one half of the iconic hip-hop duo Mobb Deep, has sent fans into a frenzy with the exciting news of unreleased music produced by The Alchemist. The Queensbridge legend took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of the new material live from Uncle Al’s recording studio.
In a video posted on Monday, Havoc announced, “I’m at ALC studios. New Mobb Deep coming soon. R.I.P. Prodigy. You see Al in the background. You already know what it is. Mobb Deep coming soon, baby. Infinite!”
The Alchemist also added to the anticipation by sharing a snippet of the collaboration on his own social media, captioning it, “And it begins….. @mobbdeephavoc @prodigymobbdeep.”
Known for his longstanding partnership with Mobb Deep, The Alchemist has previously worked with Havoc and Prodigy on various projects, including the group’s 1999 album “Murda Muzik” and the joint album “The Silent Partner” with Havoc in 2016.
Despite Prodigy’s passing in 2017, Havoc has been working on a new Mobb Deep album, which would be their first release since 2014’s “The Infamous Mobb Deep.” Last year, he confirmed plans for a project featuring posthumous vocals by Prodigy and even hinted at an album with Method Man in the works.
As fans eagerly await the upcoming music, Havoc continues to honor Prodigy’s legacy, reflecting on their time together and the impact they made on the hip-hop world. Stay tuned for more updates on the highly anticipated new music from Mobb Deep and The Alchemist.
