Family of 8-Year-Old Noah Bush Seeks Justice After His Death is Ruled a Homicide

The tragic death of 8-year-old Noah Bush, initially believed to be a simple accident, has taken a dark turn as local Georgia police have now ruled it a homicide. The young boy drowned in a construction pit in May, but his family’s persistence in seeking the truth led to a deeper investigation.

After more than two months of pressure from the family and the community, two minors, aged 10 and 11, have been charged in connection with Bush’s death. They are facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and simple battery, although their names cannot be disclosed due to their age.

The case took a surprising twist when the mother of one of the accused boys, Natalie Hardison, was arrested on unrelated charges, including a probation violation and making false statements. Despite the charges not being directly linked to Bush’s death, the development has shed light on the involvement of adults in the tragic incident.

Noah’s mother, Demetrice Bush, expressed gratitude that at least one adult is being held accountable, but emphasized the family’s determination to seek justice for her son. The family’s attorney, Francys Johnson, echoed these sentiments, stating that the arrest of the child’s mother is a significant step towards achieving full justice.

As the legal proceedings unfold, bail has been set for the two young suspects, with the 11-year-old facing a $10,000 bond and the 10-year-old a $5,000 bond. The community continues to rally behind the Bush family in their quest for closure and accountability in this heartbreaking case.
