Actively Black Continues Partnership with Team Nigeria for 2024 Paris Olympics

Team Nigeria is once again making a statement at the 2024 Paris Olympics, not just with their athletic prowess, but also with their stylish and culturally significant outfits. Thanks to the partnership with Black-owned sportswear brand Actively Black, the Nigerian delegation is turning heads with their unique and eye-catching attire.

The Actively Black Olympic kit for Team Nigeria combines traditional Nigerian prints with modern silhouettes designed for optimal performance. From the opening and closing ceremony looks featuring classic block prints in the colors of the Nigerian flag to the casual athleisure wear at the Olympic Village, every piece tells a story of Nigerian identity and heritage.

Founder Lanny Smith, a former professional basketball player, expressed his pride in seeing a Black-owned brand like Actively Black on the global stage alongside major sportswear giants. This partnership not only showcases the talent and creativity of Black designers but also highlights the diversity and cultural richness of Nigeria.

Team Nigeria is not the only delegation making a fashion statement at the Olympics. Other Black brands and designers have also been outfitting teams and athletes, adding a touch of style and cultural significance to the games. From Team Liberia in Telfar designs to Team Haiti in Stella Jean creations, the Olympic stage is becoming a runway for Black excellence and creativity.

As the world watches the athletes compete for gold, they are also admiring the artistry and craftsmanship of the designers behind the scenes. The 2024 Paris Olympics are not just about sports; they are also a celebration of culture, identity, and the power of representation on a global stage.
