Harlem Cycle: Building Community and Empowering Clients to Reach Fitness Goals

Harlem Cycle, the first and only indoor cycling studio in Harlem, is not just a place to work out, but a community hub where clients can come together to reach their fitness goals in a fun and uplifting environment. Founded by Tammeca Rochester, Harlem Cycle is more than just a fitness studio – it’s a place where people can come together, have fun, and support each other on their fitness journey.

Rochester, a former C-suite executive in corporate America, took a leap of faith to pursue her passion for fitness and wellness by opening Harlem Cycle in 2016. Despite the risks involved in leaving her comfortable corporate job, Rochester knew that she needed to follow her heart and create something that she could be proud of, not only for herself but also for her son.

With a focus on cycling, Rochester wanted to create a workout experience that was accessible to everyone, regardless of their fitness level. She believes that cycling is not only a great workout but also a fun and engaging activity that can bring people together.

At Harlem Cycle, clients can expect to be immersed in a dark room with music pumping, surrounded by a supportive community all working towards a common goal of having a great experience. Rochester’s vision for Harlem Cycle is to help people become their best selves while also enjoying the journey.

Harlem Cycle is more than just a fitness studio – it’s a place where people can come together, have fun, and support each other on their fitness journey. With its focus on community and inclusivity, Harlem Cycle is truly a unique and uplifting space for all who walk through its doors.
