Blueface Sent to New Prison to Begin Four-Year Sentence, New Mugshot Released

Controversial rapper Blueface has been transferred to a new prison to begin his four-year sentence, with a new mugshot released to the public. The “Thotiana” rapper was moved from Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison in Delano, CA on September 5, entering the general population at the medium-security facility.

In a recent radio interview from behind bars, Blueface gave an update on his legal situation, revealing that he expects to be released in March or April of 2025. Despite his incarceration, he described his daily routine in prison as watching TV, eating Doritos, and using the phone, joking that he’s enjoying a break from responsibility and even gaining weight.

The rapper also expressed his desire to fight fellow rappers Soulja Boy and NLE Choppa, with whom he had feuded before his imprisonment. Blueface has been locked up since January for violating his probation related to a 2021 assault charge.

His manager, Wack 100, had previously estimated that Blueface would serve significantly less than his full sentence, predicting he would be home in nine to ten months. Despite his legal troubles, Blueface seems to be keeping a positive attitude and staying focused on his music career even while behind bars.
