Quavo, the rapper turned actor, has dropped a teaser trailer for his upcoming live-action CGI film “Takeover” on Friday (Sept. 6). The visual, posted on Instagram, features a near-lifelike version of Quavo tearing up an Atlanta roadway with a child in the backseat and a bald man holding a gun to his side.
The teaser gives viewers a glimpse into the intense world of “Takeover,” blending Atlanta’s street racing culture with high-stakes crime. The film centers around Gamal Akopyan, the leader of an international heist ring, who uses street takeovers to pull off massive robberies. After a heist goes wrong, Akopyan must navigate the dangerous Atlanta takeover scene to escape with nine figures’ worth of diamonds.
