Florida Men Arrested After Finding and Selling Deputy’s Lost Weapon

Two Florida men, Chance Byron and Damari Dennis, found themselves in hot water after stumbling upon a deputy’s lost weapon in a gas station restroom and attempting to sell it for a mere $40 on CashApp.

Byron confessed to taking the weapon and was charged with grand theft of a firearm, failure to report lost property, and dealing in stolen property.
