Jordan Chiles Shines at New York Fashion Week and Beyond

Jordan Chiles is proving to be more than just a gymnast as she made her debut at New York Fashion Week this week. The Team USA gymnast, known for her viral Beyoncé-inspired floor routine, strutted down the runway for designer Kim Shui in a silver and blue leotard-inspired ensemble. Chiles, also known as “That Girl,” closed out the designer’s Spring 2025 showcase, captivating the audience with her modeling skills.

Despite facing a setback after the Olympics when her bronze medal victory was appealed by Team Romania, Chiles has remained resilient. The committee ultimately granted Romania’s appeal, asking Chiles to return the medal, which she described as a “significant blow.” The gymnast also faced racially driven attacks on social media following the appeal decision, but she has continued to hold her head high.

Chiles has been making non-gymnastics-related appearances post-Olympics, from the U.S. Open to throwing the first pitch at a New York Mets game. Her debut at NYFW comes as no surprise, as she has become known for her glamorous looks on and off the mat. Reflecting on her unique competition looks, Chiles expressed her desire to showcase her confidence through fashion.

With previous modeling experience, including posing on the cover of Teen Vogue, Chiles’ appearance at NYFW could mark the beginning of a new venture for the talented athlete. As she contemplates whether or not to return to the Olympic games in 2028, Chiles continues to inspire with her talent and resilience both in and out of the gym.
