    This week’s New Music Friday albums are shining bright with exciting new offerings from some of the biggest names in hip hop. Future’s highly anticipated mixtape, Mixtape Pluto, has fans buzzing as he continues his hot streak in 2024. The project features 18 tracks with beats from top collaborators like Southside and Wheezy, paying tribute to his cousin Rico Wade and their humble beginnings in Atlanta’s Dungeon studio.

    Meanwhile, The Alchemist shows no signs of slowing down with his latest solo album, The Genuine Article, featuring collaborations with ScHoolboy Q, Conway The Machine, and Action Bronson. Lil Tecca gets personal on his fourth LP, Plan A, inviting fans into his world with introspective lyrics and catchy beats.

    MC Lyte makes a surprising comeback with her first album in almost a decade, 1 of 1, featuring a star-studded lineup including Stevie Wonder, Big Daddy Kane, and Queen Latifah.
