Swizz Beatz, the renowned music producer and husband of Alicia Keys, has made a name for himself in the music industry long before he became Mr. Keys. Born as Kasseem Dean in the Bronx in 1978, Beatz got his start in the game through his uncles, who founded the hip-hop record label Ruff Ryders Entertainment in 1988. After begging for a chance to showcase his producing skills, Beatz wowed everyone with the beat for “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem.”

Since then, Beatz has produced hits for artists like Jay Z, T.I., Nicki Minaj, and Whitney Houston, leaving his mark on the hip-hop genre with his bass-heavy beats. His marriage to Alicia Keys has also garnered attention, with the couple sharing a successful blended family and a nearly 15-year marriage.

Their love story began in the Bronx when Keys was 14 and Beatz was 16. After reconnecting years later, the couple collaborated on music projects and eventually tied the knot in 2010. Together, they have two sons, Egypt and Genesis, while Beatz also has three children from previous relationships.
