Meek Mill Clarifies Relationship with Drake After Shouting Out Kendrick Lamar

Meek Mill has set the record straight on his relationship with Drake and Kendrick Lamar, following a recent shoutout to the Compton rapper. During a Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter), Meek revealed his thoughts on the two rap heavyweights.

When asked about his top three West Coast rappers dead or alive, Meek listed Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar, emphasizing that there was no specific order. Despite some backlash from fans questioning his loyalty to Drake, Meek defended his choice, stating that Kendrick is the most lyrical and effective rapper of his era from the West Coast.

Meek also made it clear that his appreciation for Kendrick does not affect his relationship with Drake, whom he considers cool. He even mentioned having both artists’ diss tracks on his playlist.

However, not everyone is convinced by Meek’s claims of neutrality in the Drake and Kendrick beef. Media personality Akademiks recently accused Meek of being responsible for the ongoing rivalry between the two superstars. Akademiks suggested that Meek’s failure to take down Drake during their own feud in 2015 gave Drake the confidence to face off against Kendrick.

Despite the controversy surrounding his past actions, Meek Mill remains unbothered and continues to show love to both Drake and Kendrick Lamar. The rapper’s candid responses have sparked a debate among fans about his role in the ongoing rap beefs.
