Young Thug YSL RICO Trial: Witness Claims Memory Loss and Health Issues Impact Testimony
The ongoing Young Thug YSL RICO trial took another unexpected turn as witness Quindarrious Zachary, also known as Lil’ D, claimed that his health conditions and pain medication have affected his memory and ability to testify. Zachary, who was arrested on a material witness warrant, revealed that he was under the influence of Percocet and morphine during his previous testimony and stated, “I don’t remember nothing.”
Adding to the drama, Zachary mentioned having ADHD and autism, leading to confusion and frustration during the proceedings. Despite being repeatedly questioned about retaliatory shootings in 2015, Zachary continuously responded with “I don’t know,” prompting the prosecution to accuse him of intentionally hindering the state’s case.
However, Zachary’s attorney argued that his client suffers from severe sickle cell disease, which has led to frequent hospital visits and blood transfusions. Despite these challenges, a doctor cleared Zachary to testify in the trial.
The trial, which began with opening statements in November 2023, has been marked by a lengthy jury selection process and Young Thug’s continued custody since his arrest in May 2022. With Zachary’s testimony playing a crucial role in the case, the trial continues to be filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.
