The recent revelation in the case of the apparent second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has taken a shocking turn. In a recent filing, federal prosecutors disclosed that Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in the case, had written a letter weeks prior to the incident explicitly stating that it was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The letter, addressed to “The World,” offered $150,000 to anyone who could complete the job.

The filing also revealed that Routh had left a box at his house containing ammunition, a metal pipe, tools, and various letters, including the one claiming responsibility for the attempted assassination. Routh, 58, was charged with firearm offenses after allegedly fleeing from the Trump International Golf Course where the incident took place.

Authorities stated that a Secret Service agent fired at Routh after spotting a rifle near where Trump was playing golf. Routh was seen running away from the scene and driving off, leading to his arrest. This marks the second time someone has apparently tried to harm Trump, with both suspects being white, Republican men.

Despite the evidence implicating Routh, Trump continues to blame President Biden and Vice President Harris for the danger he faced.
