Boosie Badazz Claims Texas Arrest Warrant Dropped Due to Misunderstanding

Austin, TX – Boosie Badazz, the Baton Rouge rapper, has claimed that an arrest warrant issued for him in Texas has been dropped due to a misunderstanding. The warrant was allegedly related to failing to pay for chauffeur services during a shopping trip in Austin earlier this year.

During an Instagram Live session on Tuesday, Boosie addressed the issue, stating that it was all a misunderstanding and that he had paid the restitution. He also mentioned that the vehicle he had hired was broken into during his trip, resulting in the theft of some of his possessions.

The incident originated during Boosie’s visit to Austin in June, where his manager had arranged for a sprinter van to transport him and his crew. The chauffeur service filed a complaint, detailing a three-day itinerary that included various stops around the city.

According to the affidavit, Boosie was pleased with the service and even promoted the business on social media. However, there was a disagreement regarding the payment, leading to the company sending an $8,800 invoice after multiple attempts to contact Boosie and his manager.

Despite this legal hiccup, Boosie Badazz still faces other legal issues, including charges of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, which could result in up to 10 years of imprisonment if convicted.

The rapper expressed relief that the arrest warrant issue has been resolved and is looking forward to moving past this incident.
