Netflix and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Partner to Produce Documentary Series on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Abuse Case

Netflix and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson are teaming up to produce a documentary series detailing Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing abuse case. This partnership was confirmed by Jackson this week, with the project set to address the violent abuse and sexual assault allegations against Combs.

Director Alexandria Stapleton and Jackson are dedicated to giving “a voice to the voiceless” and presenting “authentic and nuanced perspectives” in the upcoming docuseries. Despite the disturbing allegations, they emphasize that Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture, aiming to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.

Jackson has been vocal about his disdain for Combs over the years, citing the “uncomfortable energy” surrounding the “Bad Boys” founder and his parties as a turn-off. He has refrained from attending Combs’ events for years, expressing his concerns about the mogul’s behavior.

The documentary, previously teased by Jackson on social media, will address the allegations against Combs, including the video footage of him assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in 2016. More women have come forward, suing Combs for sexual assault, prompting Jackson to pledge that proceeds from the documentary will go to victims of sexual assault.

While the documentary’s title has not been confirmed, Jackson has used the phrase “Diddy Do It” to troll Combs online. The music mogul is currently facing sex trafficking and racketeering charges, with federal agents raiding his home and him being denied bail. Combs is now awaiting trial in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
