North Carolina Central Football Dominates Norfolk State in Circle City Classic

The North Carolina Central football team showcased their dominance in a 37-10 victory over Norfolk State at the Circle City Classic in Indianapolis. With the win, Central improved to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 in MEAC play, while Norfolk State fell to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in conference action.

Quarterback Walker Harris stole the show once again at Lucas Oil Stadium, throwing for four touchdowns to lead the Eagles to victory. Harris, who had previously thrown five touchdowns in last year’s CCC, continues to impress with his performance on the big stage. His remarkable stats at the stadium now include 508 yards, nine touchdowns, and zero interceptions over two seasons.

The receiving corps for North Carolina Central also shined in the game, with Markell Quick, Luke Bracey, and Chance Peterson all making key plays in the passing game. Quick’s explosive plays, including a 63-yard touchdown and a remarkable 15-yard touchdown catch, showcased the depth and talent of the Eagles’ receiving options.

On the other side, Norfolk State struggled with inconsistency once again, as their offense failed to generate momentum against a strong Central defense. The Spartans will need to regroup and find more consistency in their upcoming games to turn their season around.

As the season progresses, North Carolina Central appears to be hitting their stride, while Norfolk State faces challenges ahead. Fans will be eager to see how both teams continue to perform in the coming weeks.
