2024 Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards to Honor Grandmaster Caz, Roxanne Shante, and Kool Moe Dee

The 2024 Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards are set to be a star-studded event honoring the legendary emcees Grandmaster Caz, Roxanne Shante, and Kool Moe Dee for their significant contributions to the evolution of rap music. Taking place at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 5, the event will be hosted by actor Terry Crews and feature performances from iconic Hip-Hop artists such as Nas, Fab 5 Freddy, and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Selected by a prestigious advisory board including Nas and Fab 5 Freddy, the honorees were chosen for their pivotal roles in shaping the genre. The Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards are organized by The Paid in Full Foundation, a non-profit founded in 2022 with a mission to recognize and support transformational artists in the Hip-Hop community.

Last year, rap legends Rakim and Scarface were honored at the inaugural event and each received $500,000 as a token of appreciation. This year, the tradition continues as Grandmaster Caz, Roxanne Shante, and Kool Moe Dee are set to receive their well-deserved recognition.
