Living Legends Foundation Hosts Annual Awards Dinner and Gala in Hollywood, California
The Living Legends Foundation, Inc. (LLF) hosted its annual awards dinner and gala in Hollywood, California, attracting stars from various industries. The event, emceed by Skip Cheatham and featuring DJ Battlecat, honored industry icons like L. Londell McMillan, who received the Kendall A. Minter Entertainment Advocate Award. McMillan emphasized the importance of Black entrepreneurship in his acceptance speech.
Other honorees included Donnie Simpson, Harvey Mason Jr., and Ed Eckstine, who received awards for their contributions to the industry. Gwen Franklin, founder of B. Lifted Up! Inc., was recognized with the Mike Bernardo Female Executive Award for her trailblazing career in the music industry.
Joi Brown, founder of Culture Creators, received the Impact Player Award, while Mike Kelly and Chris Chambers were honored with the Music Executive and Media Executive Awards, respectively. The event highlighted the achievements of Black executives and creators in the music and entertainment industries.
