Grammy-Winning Artist Victoria Monét to Release Lyrical Children’s Book “Everywhere You Are”

Grammy-winning artist Victoria Monét is set to release a lyrical children’s book titled “Everywhere You Are” next summer, featuring illustrations by Alea Marley. The book, to be published in both English and Spanish, aims to help young readers dealing with separation anxiety while providing comfort to parents as well.

Monét, known for her hit songs and performances, shared that writing a children’s book has always been a dream of hers. Drawing inspiration from her own experiences as a mother to three-year-old Hazel Monét Gaines, she wanted to create a story that emphasizes the bond between parent and child, no matter the distance.

The book tells the story of a moon comforting a young star as they part ways at the end of the night, highlighting the message of love and togetherness. Monét expressed that writing the book helped alleviate some of the mom guilt she felt as a working mother, unable to be in two places at once.

Incorporating her daughter into her work has been a priority for Monét, as seen in her music and now in her upcoming book. Reading drafts of the book to Hazel brought her peace, knowing that the sentiment of the story resonated with her daughter.

“Everywhere You Are” is now available for pre-order and is set to be published by Putnam Books for Young Readers on June 24, 2025. Monét hopes that the book will bring families together for moments of reflection, understanding, and quality time for generations to come.
