Ari Lennox Jokes About Being Willing to Do Strange Things to Pay Off IRS Debt
Ari Lennox is not holding back when it comes to her recent financial struggles and past experiences on tour. The Dreamville singer took to Instagram Live to share with fans that she is in debt to the IRS and is willing to do some “strange things” to pay it off.
“I need to pay this IRS. The strange things Iām finna do for change, just so I can just break even,” Lennox said during the live stream. She also joked about starting anew, paying off her debts, saving money, and eventually retiring.
Despite her financial woes, Lennox made it clear that she has no plans to start a beef with the IRS, as they have been patient with her and have not garnished her wages.
In addition to her financial struggles, Lennox also recently called out Rod Wave for not coming to her defense after she experienced “evil” and “racist” treatment while opening for him on tour. She shared her support for fellow rapper Flo Milli, who experienced a similar incident on tour, and expressed her disappointment in Rod Wave for not speaking up for her.
Lennox concluded her message by vowing to never open up for another artist again and calling on headliners to protect their openers. She emphasized the importance of respecting and supporting Black women in the music industry.
