What is the thought process of Black Trump supporters in 2024?

Donald Trump’s Degradation of Black People and Desperation for a Second Term

Donald Trump’s desperation to secure a second term as president has led to a disturbing degradation of Black people in America. His attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, his primary opponent for the upcoming election, have reached alarming levels of racism and sexism.

Despite his attempts to court Black support by speaking at Black Conservative Federation events and visiting Black churches, Trump’s true colors have been revealed in his relentless attacks on Harris. From questioning her racial identity to spreading false information about her rallies, Trump has shown just how low he is willing to go to win.

His disdain for Black women has become visceral, with his campaign sharing ads insisting they are in his corner while his actions speak otherwise. Trump’s plans for a second term, outlined in Project 2025, include granting cops blanket protections, reimposing the Muslim travel ban, and rolling back pollution limits—all of which would disproportionately harm marginalized communities.

Black Trump supporters must reconsider their stance, as a Trump presidency would undoubtedly hurt Black and other marginalized communities the most. As the saying goes, when America catches a cold, Black America catches pneumonia. It is time for Black Trump allies to rethink their support and consider the consequences of another term under a president who has shown such blatant disregard for their well-being.
