Ice Spice Settles Lawsuit with Brooklyn Rapper Over “In Ha Mood” Track

Ice Spice can breathe a sigh of relief as she has settled a lawsuit with Brooklyn rapper D.Chamberz over her track “In Ha Mood.” The lawsuit, filed earlier this year, alleged that Ice Spice copied the beat, lyrics, and structure of Chamberz’s track “In That Mood.”

The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be brought again, but details of the settlement were not disclosed. Chamberz claimed that he had created his song a year before Ice Spice released “In Ha Mood” on her debut EP.

In other news, Ice Spice recently surprised fans with a performance at a Sexyy Red show in NYC. Sporting her signature curly ‘fro, she joined the St. Louis native on stage to perform her 2023 single “Deli.” Fans rejoiced over the return of her famous hairstyle, which she shared on Instagram.

The Sexyy’s Sexyy Red 4 President tour, originally set to launch in Seattle, had a rocky start with cancellations in Seattle, Portland, and Oakland. Sexyy Red denied reports of low ticket sales, attributing the cancellations to alleged sabotage by major concert promoters.

Ice Spice’s manager also recently waded into a beef with Cleotrapa, calling out the “entitlement and ego” in the situation. Despite the legal battles and tour drama, Ice Spice continues to make waves in the music industry with her unique style and performances.
