Ex-Porn Star Suing Diddy for Sexual Assault May Lose Lawyer

The ex-porn star who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs over the summer is facing a new hurdle in her legal battle. Adria English, the plaintiff in the case, may have to find a new lawyer after her current attorney, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, requested to withdraw from the case.

In a recent court filing, Mitchell-Kidd cited conflicting instructions from English that made it difficult for her to effectively represent her. The attorney mentioned a breakdown in their relationship, irreconcilable differences, and English’s tone, lack of respect, and “self-destructive” activities as reasons for her withdrawal.

English’s lawsuit, filed in July, accuses Combs, Tamiko Thomas, and Jacob “The Jeweler” Arabov of sex trafficking her between 2004 and 2009. She alleges that Combs targeted her for grooming and forced her into sex work at his infamous White Parties.

Despite the setback with her legal representation, English has found new counsel to move forward with her lawsuit, which is the 13th against Combs amid his current federal detention. The rap mogul was arrested in Manhattan on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and engaging in interstate transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and was denied bail.

As the case unfolds, the public eagerly awaits more developments in this high-profile legal battle. Stay tuned for updates on Combs’ legal troubles and the ongoing lawsuits against him.
